Pearlized Film
Pearlized BOPP film — also called cavitated or white opaque BOPP film — is a low-density, high-opacity polypropylene film that combines a premium pearl finish with the stiffness and moisture protection your packaging needs. It is made by dispersing a pearlescent filler into polypropylene resin and biaxially orienting the film, which forms micro-voids that create the characteristic pearl sheen, bright white opacity, and reduced density of 0.65–0.78 g/cm³.
SAILLAGE's pearlized BOPP film for packaging is engineered for food-contact applications and high-speed converting. It is widely used for snack packaging, ice cream and confectionery wrappers, cold drink sleeves, beverage and wrap-around labels, premium soap and gift boxes, and as an outer ply in laminated structures. Compared with clear BOPP, it delivers more square meters per kilogram, a clean white base for brand graphics, and reliable machinability with controlled COF and thermal shrinkage.
