The process involves printing a design onto a special PET film and then transferring that design onto the shirt using a heat press. When selecting the ideal direct to film printing shirt, the primary considerations must be the fabric composition, the shirt's color, and the intended use, as these factors directly impact the final print quality, durability, and customer satisfaction. A shirt is not just a blank canvas; it is an integral component of the final product. Industry data and printer testimonials consistently show that a 100% combed cotton shirt is the superior choice for DTF transfers.
